I have a alaskan husky approx 2 yrs old he is a pound rescue and have had him a year and a half he is a great dog but I just can't figure out his motivation factor he is not food or treat motivated i still can't get him to come most times refuses to sit or stay the basics let alone off leash training

My American Pitbull was separated from her mother at about 2 wks old. As a result, she never learned from her mom about boundaries, etc. She also was difficult to control on a leash. The clicker training i did with all of my previous dogs, was not effective. I enrolled her for training at Sit Means Sit. Now, she’s awesome on and off a leash. Life is so nice with a well-mannered dog. She loves group class and playing w her friends. I couldn’t have done any of this without SMS!

After going through basic training programs with our hyper active pit bull, we knew we needed something more to give him more obedience and impulse control. Sit Means Sit gave us the tools to help him learn when and where is appropriate to run around. Cooper turned out to be intelligent loving, but stubborn and anything but calm. Very difficult to keep calm when anyone came over. I tried everything I know and learned from having owned several large breed dogs. Nothing worked. So for the first time I decided to try a professional dog trainer. SMS trainers have helped me get him to where I feel confident taking almost everywhere I go with no problem. He gets along with all my other dogs and cats. Thank you all at SMS.
