Dave and his assistant were absolutely phenomenal.. Dave was straight to the point and made it incredibly easy to understand training and how a dog works. Him and his team were the nicest and worked very hard around my schedule as well and kept me updated with everything. I have a strong and aggressive German Shepard that most wouldn't go near, but he did. I was very impressed and am happy with the results. These people know what they're doing and clearly care about what they do. If you want your dog trained, and trained the right way, I would highly recommend going to them!

We brought Bear (black lab) to Dave in June. He was a nightmare to walk! I cant't believe the difference with the training we have all learned. It was a pleasure working with Dave, he really cares for the dogs and owners. I highly recommend!!!!

Training our Golden Retriever puppy with Dave was the best decision! Dave gave us the guidance and tools we needed to build our dog’s obedience and confidence. Dave was professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. We’ve seen such a difference in Bailey’s ability to pay attention, control his impulses, and respond to commands. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dave and his team at Sit Means Sit. From the moment we met, it was clear Dave is not just a dog trainer, but a deeply compassionate, intelligent, and intuitive person who truly understands dogs — and their humans.
Before we started working together, my dog was incredibly anxious, extremely reactive, and struggling to feel safe/find his place in the world. But Dave approached each and every session with patience, empathy, and an incredible depth of knowledge that has greatly improved my and dog’s quality of life.
Thanks to Dave’s guidance, my dog is now much calmer, noticeably happier, and more confident. The difference is night and day. Dave didn’t use harsh methods or quick fixes — instead, he built trust, used consistent techniques, and celebrated every small victory with us along the way.
