I have to say, when we went to our free evaluation, I was definitely skeptical like any other dog parent. Shock collar? Eh, I don’t know. But we went through with it because we were at our wits end with Harry. He had a severe barking problem and was unable to take any type of direction using store bought products. After our FIRST class with HP, we immediately saw a positive change in his behavior. He now has 4 classes under his belt and is doing amazing. He can sit, stay, walk without pulling, but most importantly, he is able to be inside the house with our two smaller dogs. Scheduling has never been an issue, and the staff is responsive. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks to Sit Means Sit, not only are we more sane, but Harry has a better quality of life. Thank you guys!

I signed up a couple weeks ago for their free “consultation”. Their initial email said it was going to be one hour with the following being included: “Most importantly, we will show you control of your dog on the spot Once we show you results, we custom tailor an obedience program to suit the dog's needs as well as meet your expectations and goals “. My trainer apparently had something come up at 9:30am on a Wednesday and no one was there to replace him. I was immediately put into a sales pitch. They shock train their dogs, which is fine, but the above promise was not provided. My hour consultation lasted 20 mins. At the end, the sales person handed me a piece of paper with generic info. On the last page it said “ask about our puppy program”. I asked about it and apparently they don’t even offer that program, but don’t worry- she was in the process of updating the website on all of their current service offerings. Their scheduling tool was and profile was not very user friendly. Would not recommend wasting your time by taking your dog there.

HP and his staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They genuinely care about the progression your dog makes in his/her training. My fur baby became aggressive towards people and other dogs after being neutered. He was out of control and had bitten both people and other dogs. I had him in training at a different place and they told me that he was not progressing and that he was no longer to attend. When I thought all was hopeless with my baby I scheduled a consultation with HP at Sit Means Sit and I am glad that I did. My boy Apollo is becoming a gentleman. We still have work ahead of us, but in just 3 private sessions Apollo and myself are much more confident beings. He is now much more controllable around others. I can walk him out in public without the fear that he may hurt someone. Thank you Sit Means Sit.
