We began training with Sit Means Sit when our beagle puppy, Atticus was 4 months old - he is now 1 year old. It has been a great experience from the start, and I have received numerous compliments on my dog’s excellent behavior. Blake and Cheyenne are knowledgeable, kind, patient and remarkable teachers. The group classes have helped Atticus become accustomed to being around other dogs and not be reactive. I have also really appreciated the one on one time with the coaches to hone in on various skills. The training has been well worth the investment.

I can't recommend Sit Means Sit in Post Falls enough—easily the best dog trainers in North Idaho! As an owner of a young Rhodesian Ridgeback, I was looking for help with basic obedience, and their program has been eye opening. Using e-collars in a positive and non punitive way, they taught my dog commands like place, place with duration, recall, and heel, including in distracting environments.
What sets them apart is their incredible customer service and the expertise of trainers Blake and Cheyenne. They didn't just train my dog—they educated me every step of the way, providing clear explanations on why we use certain techniques and how to reinforce them at home. I appreciated their passion for helping me create a better bond with my dog. One can tell right away that they're super passionate about people and dogs.
