Sit Means Sit Dog Training North Idaho

We had an extremely reactive dog, 65 lbs, who became so obsessed with dragging me down the street on a walk- it was exhausting. The attention that we’ve been shown from both Cheyenne and Blake has been amazing- from emails and texts, to home visits. On top of that, the 3x a week optional classes expands our skill set. Communication has been straightforward and my husband and I continue to build our own skill set.

When we first got Duke, we knew we wanted to find a dog training program where we felt confident — and more importantly, one where Duke would be trained well. After researching our options, we chose Sit Means Sit, and now, two years later, we can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for him. Not only did Duke receive excellent training that gave him structure, confidence, and clear communication — he also earned his Good Samaritan award, which we're incredibly proud of! What really sets Sit Means Sit apart is that it’s more than just training — it’s a community. The trainers truly care, the environment is supportive, and we’ve met so many other dog owners who are on the same journey. We’re grateful for everything Sit Means Sit has done for Duke (and for us as his owners) and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for results-driven training with.

He went from being overly energetic and hard to manage to calm, focused, and obedient. The trainers were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about Duke’s progress. BEST PURCHASE EVER! When I first started my dog was pulling, jumping and running away to the point I was crying every day because I was too stressed. Now, I take him everywhere with me. Whether it’s work or just an adventure with friends he is right beside me. Sit Means Sit helped me and my dog be able to enjoy life together and have fun learning new tricks. Something I love is that they meet you and your dog first to customize a program for you. They got to know my dog and his motivation and work with him and me so that we became a great team. Now, two years later he is happy as could be and I enjoy taking him with me without a worry. 1000% recommend training here.
