Sit Means Sit Dog Training North Alabama

I started looking into dog trainers around the time my Chihuahua mix was almost 4 months old and fully vaccinated. I’m going to be honest, when I went to my initial consultation I hesitated because I wasn’t sure how I felt about using an E-collar, and I was a little bit anxious about the price. A few days after my initial consultation, I talked with Jessica on the phone and she very patiently answered all my questions, I also appreciated that I never felt like she was trying to pressure me into using their program. At this point, my gut instinct told me that this was the right training facility for me and my dog, and I am so glad I made the decision to go with Sit Means Sit. Alex and Jessica are very knowledgeable and patient, and when they tell you that they will spend as much time with you and your dog as it takes to ensure that both you and your dog understand the training, they mean it. Before I started this program, my dog would shake in fear anytime he saw a stranger and after six weeks I feel like I have a different dog, he is so much more confident and less anxious.

This has been the best experience for our new pup, Grady! He is so sweet and loving, but needed a little help with listening and building confidence. Jessica and Alex have been absolutely amazing through the whole process- even when it’s me that needs the extra help and not Grady! They are supportive and patient and make it very clear they are here for as long as we need them (they remind me each session that this is a lifetime program and they aren’t going anywhere 😁). I told them the first day I picked up Grady that I’d been skeptical, but was more than pleasantly surprised with what he’s been able to learn and the difference these lessons have made! I could not recommend them more.. ❤️
