I have been a client of SMS for over a decade! I started with SMS over 10 years ago with my two rescue dogs that I adopted. One was a puppy, the other was about a year old. I had a great experience in puppy class with my boy, so I signed my girl up for classes too. Both dogs went through private lessons and then group classes. The group classes are awesome! It was incredibly beneficial to work with my dogs on their commands in an environment with other dogs\owners doing the same. It provided a safe space with healthy distractions. I recently brought a new puppy into my home, and couldn't wait to start her with SMS. She finished her puppy classes with Amy and Monica. The puppy classes were great for socialization. Freddy was able to meet new puppy friends, get familiar being handled by other people, exposed to new surfaces\sounds\items to help feed curiosity and create resilience, and so much more. You can really tell they care about creating a well rounded dog. This week is another big week for us. Freddy starts her Day Training! I love the structure of this program. Freddy will work with the trainers a couple days a week at the facility, and then I get to work with her on the things she's learned in-between those lessons. I signed her up for Body Mind Dog's 'Fit Dog' classes with Amy as well. Spend a few minutes listening to Amy and you will see the passion and extensive knowledge she has regarding the health and wellness of dogs. I know it's not always easy to know who to trust with your dogs which is why I felt compelled to write this review. I have met so many of the trainers up there and have had great experiences! Do Not Trust This Facility — Serious Health & Integrity Issues My dog contracted kennel cough during the first week of bootcamp at this facility. I provided them with a confirmed diagnosis from our vet, yet they chose to stay silent and keep operating without notifying other customers. As a result, all four of my dogs are now sick, and I’m left with over $1,000 in vet bills. Even worse, the team was rude, dismissive, and dishonest when I brought this up. They offered no transparency or support. I had to get legal help just to cancel my contract and get a partial refund. They also use high-pressure, bait-and-switch tactics—harassing you to sign quickly, then changing the terms after the fact. If you ask questions, you’re met with belittling responses. This place operates under a franchise name, but they cannot be trusted with your dog’s health or your peace of mind. There are plenty of other local trainers who are honest, communicative, and actually care. Please protect your dog and your wallet—go elsewhere.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sit Means Sit; The trainers, staff, overall facility, and the entire experience I had. I brought my dog, Bear (133-pound Cane Corso), to their facility because he was reactive towards people and dogs, with very little training or manners. This made simple things like going to the park or the vet almost impossible and affected his overall quality of life. Before finding Sit Means Sit, I consulted with over seven other trainers and facilities. I was told that Bear would need to be boarded for at least a month, he was too big to handle, and I was quoted upwards of $7,000 for just the start of his training. I was also made to feel like he was “too aggressive” and needed a complete mental overhaul, which left me feeling hopeless. As well as feeling judged and uncomfortable. Then I found Sit Means Sit. When I met with Nick, he took the time to listen to Bear's history and why he reacted the way he did. He shared with me information that helped me personally because I felt helpless, frustrated, and like I failed Bear. I felt welcomed by the people and knew that they wanted the best for Bear just like I did! By the end of our meeting, I knew that Sit Means Sit was the best choice for Bear and me. Bear went through their immersion program, and I was amazed at how well he did during his 10-day stay. I received numerous updates, including photos and videos of his progress. I’ll admit, I was that "annoying" dog parent who checked in frequently, Being very nervous because he was reactive, but the team was always so friendly and reassuring, offering plenty of information. By just three days in, Bear was already content around other dogs, people, and even in stores! We attended two training sessions where I learned so much information and Nick helped me to learn Bear, understand him, and help me to be successful with the training! Bear and I attended our first group class recently, surrounded by many other dogs and people, and it went wonderfully. Everyone was so welcoming, answered all my questions, and provided even more helpful insights. Also, for the first time in months, I was able to take Bear to the park without any issues! I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Sit Means Sit for their dedication and care. They genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners and are committed to ensuring success long after the training ends. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for Bear and me! I cant recommend them enough!
