Sit Means Sit Dog Training Chicago

I cannot speak for Avondale but Kerry Omerza is absolutely awful. The corporation did not do anything about her after she abused my dog, and just gave me a phone run around. My dog was a red zone pit that she recommended euthanasia for. Kerry shocked my dog so bad for not looking at her constantly my 70lb pit was crying in pain. This dog survived a bloody incident with another red zone rescue and never wimpered in pain. When I asked to feel the shock level on my hand (I break coconuts with my palms) Kerry terminated the free session. This story gets even worse but o won't go into details about her history with the dog I adopted. If your dog is not a dog that wimpers and the trainer makes her wimper get a new trainer. I went the 5 different trainers at different places before I found one who is phenomenal.

I have a rescue pibble, a big tank of a girl, that would barely let me walk her out of anxiety. Every walk was a struggle. She is a sweet little angel in the house, but we couldn't manage her anxiety outside. I tried probably 6 trainers before meeting with Alexa, who immediately helped me gain confidence and control with walks. It has been a life changer! Truly, the most uplifting experience. My dog can now pretty much go anywhere with me and be happy and calm. We are at a place I never thought we would be. And it has bonded me and my dog more than I can imagine... I am fostering a boxer mix with terrible anxiety so I turned to Alexa again!! We are making so much progress. I trust myself more when it comes to dogs. Anytime I need training, foster or new family pet, I will be going here! I have a big soft spot for the rescue dog, and we all know they can come with their own bag of crazy, but Alexa and sit means sit has made it a reality to care for these awesome dogs that just need a little more attention!

We LOVE Sit Means Sit! Changed our world! My dog literally destroyed both my shoulders from pulling on walks (no harness or collar made a difference) and super super aggressive with almost every dog walking down the street. Now-leash walking a totally different experience and her triggers are down 80%. We still have a little work to do, but she LOVES the training. She can't wait to get out of the car when we go for classes. She can literally walk around a room with 10 other dogs and not make a peep. I can't explain it-but after a class you have such a sense of pride in your dog b/c you see how much they love it and thrive in it. Gives you that much more confidence with them. Anyone who has an insecure or highly reactive dog needs to call SMS!
