Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Charleston

I have a 3 yr old Cavachon. Her name is Ally.A real love bug, however she had issues on the leash, passing other dogs and anxiety when pulling into a park or parking lot. Sit Means Sit really helped us with all the issues. Greated by Nia in the office she made me feel welcome. She had Cassie evaluate Ally explained the program and demonstrated with her dog. I was very impressed. I signed us up for the Platinum plan. So well worth it. I noticed a difference from the first class. I have used other training in the past but I think the intense classes was a big help, and necessary. I had Katelyn and Noel for some training, they were very helpful pleasant and easy to work with. The majority of my training was with Christine. She not only was patient with Ally but also patient with me. I had some problems with some techniques but she took the time to make sure I understood what I needed to practice with Ally. I appreciate all the help all the girls gave us. It has made our dog owner relationship 100% better.

Our dog “Bitsy” is a 1.5 year old female mini labradoodle and she just completed a 4 week Platinum training program with Sit Means Sit. We are extremely pleased with the progress she made during the program. Nia, the owner of the business, was our first contact and was quick to respond to our inquiry and offered a quick overview of program options. We took Bitsy to a scheduled evaluation session with Cassie and discussed our training goals and training program options. The trainers Kate, Christine and Noel were all top notch and were very kind and patient with our dog. After each training session we reviewed the progress made that training day. The training facility is large, very and comfortable. Sit Means Sit program is well organized and gave us a good foundation to build on and my wife and I highly recommend them.

My dog storm came in with absolutely awful dog reactivity. If she was in a room and knew a dog was in another room she would lose her mind, She would hop fences to chase dogs. We didn’t know what to do. After finding Sit means sit, I had high hopes but didn’t know what exactly what to expect. From the first training, we made a comment about how storm was not in the same room as other dogs, to turn the corner and find her placing with dogs around here. That changed everything, from there on was magic. Huge shoutout to Christine who treated storm like her own and was her main trainer. I can bring her to Lowe’s and pet stores and not have to tense up at the sight of another dog waiting for the chaos to ensue. Storm has become a completely different dog and is much happier. I can sit her, drop the leash, and walk to an outdoor cat to pet and know that she will be in the same spot when I turn around. Thank you to sit means sit, Cassie, Katelyn, and Noel for helping with Storm and turning her into an amazing dog that I love showing off. (Especially the compliments I get about how well behaved she is) The work they do is truly amazing and if you’ve seen them with their dogs, it shows. I highly highly highly recommend. Even for just basic obediences. Storm will be boarding with them and knowing she is going to Christine’s home, having the time of her life gives us peace of mind while we are away. Experienced trainers who are invested in the success of your dog. We did the platinum program, which in my opinion was great value! 5 weeks of training, one day per week and on top of that, free group classes for a year, a couple days of boarding and daycare if you have a busy day, and one on one training if needed for a year. Cassie, Katelyn, and Christine are the ones that helped us and each of them were exceptional.
