Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Charleston

Our American Bully puppy has really enjoyed his classes with Cassie,Katelyn & Christine. Nia is wonderful helping us through all the scheduling. The whole program is excellent. We looked into several programs before deciding where to take our Bully. Although we have trained dogs previously this one is a special breed plus our 15yr old daughter is the one being his primary caregiver. All the ladies have helped train both our puppy & our daughter.

We had such a great experience with Sit Means Sit Charleston! Our girl Stormi is a 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who had never been to any kind of training before, so we honestly weren’t sure what to expect. She may be small, but she has a HUGE personality and an even bigger stubborn streak. 😂 She definitely made everyone work for every bit of progress! One of our biggest concerns was Stormi’s reactivity around other dogs. After six years of doing things her own way, we knew changing those behaviors wasn’t going to happen overnight. Seeing how much she has developed has been amazing. She’s learning to stay calmer, focus on us, listen, and handle being around other dogs so much better than before. The biggest thing for us is that we now have the tools to help her work through those situations instead of feeling like we don’t know what to do. It truly took a whole team! Nia was always great in the office, Cassie did our demo and helped with training, Katelyn worked with us during one of our lessons, Noel helped train Stormi, and Christine was a huge part of her training as well. ☺️Everyone was patient with her and genuinely seemed invested in seeing her succeed. And they definitely made US work for it too! 😆 They made it clear that training doesn’t end when Stormi walks out the door. We have to stay consistent and continue putting in the work at home, which has helped us understand her and communicate with her so much better. For a stubborn 6-year-old Jack Russell going through training for the first time, we are incredibly proud of how far Stormi has come. We’re so thankful to the entire Sit Means Sit Charleston team for all the patience, effort, and time they put into our little girl. ❤️🐾

We loved our experience with Sit Means Sit! From the start with our demo with Cassie and Lily, Rhinos training sessions with Noel and our lessons together with Katelyn and Christine the staff was fantastic! I saw improvements with Rhino starting from day one. I can not recommend them enough. Another plus is they were one of the only training facilities I reached out to that didn’t crate the dogs when they weren’t actively working with them.

This is the second program we have tried in the area, and this is the one that actually made a difference!! Our dog is so much better behaved and less reactive. We saw improvement just after one class. We love their model for boarding too- we know our dog is safe and well taken care of by true professionals. Christine and Cassie were both great to work with and deserve 5 stars. Nia was also always able to answer our questions when calling/texting in .All three of these people did a great job and made our experience very pleasant.

We couldn’t be happier with the training Jax received from Sit Means Sit! The biggest difference we’ve seen has been with his leash walking. Before training, taking Jax for a walk could be a real challenge. Now, he listens, stays focused, and walks so much more calmly and confidently. The transformation has been amazing to watch. Sit Means Sit didn’t just teach Jax how to behave—they taught us how to communicate with him and continue reinforcing what he learned. We are so proud of how far Jax has come, and a big thanks to Cassie and Christine for their patience, professionalism, and dedication. They truly care about the dogs they work with, and it shows.
