Recently I signed my four month old puppy with Earnie Thayer, Sit Means Sit Asheville. I had a very good previous experience with the company in So Cal 2009. Earnie has not only exceeded my expectations of the company brand, he is very knowledgeable, bonds with our dog's quickly and has fantastic training methods with both our dog's and we as parents! Ernie at Sit Means Sit has done a wonderful job training our pup, Ranger, and helping to guide us along the way. Ranger is my third german shepherd and we decided we needed a little extra help with training now that we have a 1 year old baby at home. I am extremely impressed with what Ernie has done to help our dog become more attentive, more confident, and learn the foundations of becoming a calm, confident dog at home and in public. We learned a lot of valuable knowledge from Ernie during the time we worked together. Since day one, he brought an awesome energy into the space and Ranger is thrilled everytime he sees Ernie. Ernie sent us pictures and videos of our dog's progress on training days, was excellent at answering any questions we had, and helped us problem-solve as we went along. Ernie was also great at communication, he was timely in responding to questions and made everything clear and easy for us. He was flexible with our schedule in working out times for training days which we greatly appreciated. We went to our first group class this past weekend and are very excited to continue working with Ernie and practicing training with our pup.
