We're grateful and highly recommend him! If you're looking for someone who is attentive enough to shape your dog's training based on where they are at and what they need to grow, he's more than a safe bet. Hire him.

I don't think I have ever written a review before, but I felt that I had because booking a consultation with Shuli was the best thing we could have done for our dogs. We rescued our 2 year old husky/golden retriever mix over a year ago and he recently started getting into fights with our other dogs. We were worried that we would have to separate him from our other pets indefinitely due to his behavior. Thankfully, we came across Shuli and Sit Down & Beyond Dog Training who helped our family get to a relaxed and safe space in our home. He showed us relaxation protocol, an exercise/running plan, and other important commands such as look at me, sit, down, place, and stay/settle. He not only comes directly to your home, he also sews some of his own supplies because he has researched the best materials for this area! I cannot say enough good things about Shuli and his training! He has helped us and our pets feel more safe and have a direction on how to manage any potential behaviors that may come up in the future. Thank you Shuli!

Our vet had diagnosed Luna with fear aggression based on a single, brief encounter, and referred her to a vet behaviorist for medication and behavior modification training. Shuli was willing to provide a more in-depth assessment. I can’t tell you how relieved I was to hear him say, “this dog doesn’t need to be medicated, she needs training”. It quickly became apparent that I was the one in need of training, and Shuli has done an amazing job. His visits are always informative, effective, and entertaining! Luna has responded so well to Shuli’s methods, and I have gained confidence in my ability to respond to her needs. We have recently moved on to trick training (highly recommend!) and will be attending group sessions as well. I am so grateful for Shuli!
Positive updates!! Tiggi had really great recall tonight with a backyard visitor. The training is working and I'm so appreciative!!! She did a little bit of jumping but was really attentive to me. She came and sat every time she was called. It’s working!
