Shuli is amazing. I would recommend him without hesitation. His understanding of dogs and their owners' needs is outstanding. He understood what I needed and helped me learn how to train my overly energetic husky mix to stop pulling and jumping--and injuring me. She now walks beside me and never pulls! She listens when I tell her to "leave it" and "walk with me." She comes eagerly when called. I am no longer anxious about walking with her and I can control her when she is around other dogs. I trust her and she trusts me. I am so glad that I decided to use Sit Down & Beyond Dog Training. It was totally worth the time and the cost. She has become the perfect companion dog. I reached out to Shuli initially because Moxie had some puppy fears... in particular, getting her nails clipped was REAL scary. She wasn't having it.
Through Shuli's guidance, excellent training and general doggy love... Moxie can now fully live up to her name. She will voluntarily approach *me* to get the dreaded table-top nail-clip!! I set out the clippers, a comfy pad and the can of whip-cream... and wait for Moxie to come to me and do the puppy-squat, which is her way of saying she's ready for me to pick her up (46 pounds!) and hoist her onto the table. She knows she's gonna get some whip cream & peanut-butter, and has decided that the clippety-clip is a worthy endeavor.

Shuli is energetic and passionate about training dogs. I came to him because our three-year-old pitbull had developed some bad habits, including leash, reactivity. Rather than try to get us on the hook for a ton of lessons, Shuli gave us the tools to train our dog ourselves in a short amount of time. My relationship with my dog is better, and I couldn’t be happier!

Shuli is the Best! The best trainer plus a really fun person. We adopted our puppy at 6 months old. Shuli was recommended to us by the foster dog mom. We went through the 8-foundational trainings with Shuli. He’s been a wealth of scientific resource and knowledge for our pup.
Later down the road, we noticed she was slipping back with some teenagery behavior and with a quick phone call to Shuli, he helped us to fine tune our daily schedule with our pup. She’s back on track! Plus, We take her to Shuli’s Monday camp for fun and regular upkeep.
We are finally seeing that she is becoming SUCH a good girl! We’ve been noticing an incredible boost of good behaviors, listening, and being a sweet girl. We realize that all her training and upkeep are paying off!!!
Totally recommend Shuli for your dog(s) training and upkeep. You and your dog are in good hands with Shuli!
