Daniel and Kevin were super professional and fully equipped to handle anything and everything our newly adopted staffy was dealing with. They provided excellent care of my dog while we boarded him with Daniel, and really made an effort to work with me and my girlfriend’s hectic schedules as night nurses. He was very educational and resourceful, and you can tell he’s been in the industry for a while not just by the way he carried himself during training as well as the way he was able to teach during private lessons. Definitely recommend

Just in case you don't want to read this novel the whole way through... I'll start with saying I couldn’t recommend Daniel more! We brought him a mess, and he slowly but surely untied each of those little knots. To understand the entire picture, I feel like a bit of backstory is needed: My dad rescued a 5-6 year old German Shepherd named Uma from a neglectful and most likely abusive home. She was completely emaciated. You can tell she was never really loved on. She doesn't know what to do when you do love on her. After getting her spayed, my mom decided she wanted Uma for protection. But thinking she was starving, my mom accidentally overfed her, for 6 months, leading her to be 125lbs. Uma's complete lack of training (and being fat from being pregnant and overfed) led to issues my mom couldn't handle. Basically, Uma is/was a big bully, she would constantly paw at my mother causing broken skin and horrible bruising. Now for a little back story on my Pluto, an all white pit mix. I got her at 6wks old. I had another dog who was an old man dog. Bad decision. But we made it work and they loved each other so freakin much!! Well, as old dogs do, he eventually went over the rainbow bridge. Pluto and I were left just devastated. Her, only being a year and a half or two years old, she wasn't quite sure how to cope. I definitely coddled her. And that made her behavioral problems worse. But I didn't realize it was me and what I was doing. I tried and tried working with her. Reading as much information and watching endless dog training videos trying to find a solution that worked best for her. But to no avail the issues just stayed. The worst being her leash and barrier reactivity. (Which stemmed from her other issues that I will get into later) Even when it was her best dog boyfriend that she played with ALL the time. When Uma and Pluto first met, it was not under the right conditions and it didn’t go well. Pluto was scared and avoidant, but they eventually became figured it out after some time at the dog park. Fast forward to me and my mother getting a house together... A fight over a ball unhinged everything!! We knew we needed professional help!! Enter Daniel. He knew that correcting behavioral issues would help resolve 99.99% of the other problems. Uma was signed up for a 4-week board and train program. Pluto and I did individual sessions, mostly because I'm a helicopter mom, but I also thought it was me who needed the training and tools more than Pluto needed a board and train; I felt like she just needed to be coached through it. One of the many helpful things Daniel taught me was how to out-wait Pluto's stubbornness, which was HUGE!! And he provided real-time corrections for me that were incredibly helpful. Consistency was definitely a challenge for us. If it weren't for our lack of consistency our dogs would be perfect at this point, for us and our situation, I mean. But, life happens, and I knew that I wasn't going to be able to be as consistent as I needed to be going into all of this. The thing about it though, is if you are consistent, you WILL get the results promised!! And its not necessarily 100% about the end result anyway, but the journey you both go through and the amazing bond and trust it will create with you and your dog!! Pluto can now be walked on a leash with 95% success. That 5% is her leash reactivity. Still a work in progress but that's ok. We will get there!! Uma’s pawing is almost completely under control, and my mom can now walk her with 99% success. That 1% is just Uma's stubbornness lol The progress in getting them to coexist peacefully is ongoing, but I’m confident it will continue to improve over the next few months as long as we humans do what we're supposed to do. I plan to purchase more lessons to ensure we stay consistent and to teach Pluto additional tasks. There’s so much more to say, but I’ll end the same way I started: I couldn’t recommend Daniel and his services more. He’s a great trainer and an even better human!

We highly recommend Signature K9 Training Academy. We were having behavior and aggression issues with our dog and thought we might not be able to keep her. We took her to Daniel as a last ditch effort and he was immediately helpful and showed us that these were issues that could be fixed. Daniel trained our dog for 4 weeks, and he taught us everything we need to know to continue and maintain her training. Our dog is now well behaved, and the best part is that we have the tools to enforce that behavior in all kinds of situations. Daniel is incredibly professional, supportive, and knowledgeable. We cannot recommend enough

We just finished our first 30 days with Danny and I can't recommend him enough! My two large breed females were fighting over everything and with a baby in the house, it was awful. Signature's program takes a lot of work and dedication but Danny makes himself available and is flexible, checks in often without being obnoxious, and honestly, for the first time in almost 2 years I finally have hope that my dogs will be able to coexist. No more emergency vet visits for us! We still have some work to do but the trust and relationship with my dogs is growing every day. Feeling really good about our future together as a pack 🐶💪

Daniel did an excellent job helping our 3 year old pointer Hank overcome behavioral challenges including reactivity and anxiety through his 4 week board and train program. Daniel was able to identify the underlying causes of Hanks behavior, and created a structured program to meet his specific needs. Daniel was highly responsive, addressed all of our questions, and did a great job coaching us to maintain all the positive changes he instilled in our dog. In addition to addressing behavioral concerns, Daniel was able to improve obedience and recall, which were items on our “wishlist”. We now have a much better understanding of Hank’s unique quirks, and have learned to be strong leaders who set him up for success. We had a wonderful experience working with Daniel and look forward to boarding our pup at Signature K9 moving forward!
