Sidekicks Dog Training

We just completed training with Tim and I cannot begin to express how thankful we are that we found him! To begin, Tim was very professional and communicative. His philosophy on dog training is very realistic and easy for dog owners to continue even after training is completed. Before training, our one year old pup, Rockie, would lunge, pull and just be very impulsive on her walks, it was to the point that walking her would give me anxiety and stress. From the get-go Rockie showed improvement. Each session, Tim would teach and train Rockie with methods that implement real life scenarios. Through out training we started to build a closer bond with Rockie, we learned how to effectively communicate with her and she started to respect us. Now, walks are enjoyable for Rockie and us. I HIGHLY recommend Sidekicks Dog Training!

My husband and I recently did a few months of private dog training sessions with Tim at Sidekicks Dog Training and I have so many good things to say! Tim was incredibly professional, COVID safety conscious, communicative, and really effective at teaching us how to train our pandemic puppy. We have a less than year old mini bull terrier who struggles with impulse control and channeling her excitement. Tim was encouraging and provided great tips and tricks to instill basic obedience training as well as essential possibly life saving commands. Since she does get a little wild, Tim was kind enough to let us borrow a more appropriate training collar until we decided whether we should purchase the item as well. We saw a great improvement with our wild puppy over the time spent training with Tim! He even brought his incredibly well-trained dog Minnie to enhance the experience! I can only hope our dogs are as well behaved as Minnie. Definitely make sure to set up regular practice times between sessions for best results. Thanks for everything, Tim! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

Tim is so talented and helpful! I was having a very hard time with walking my dog on the leash without him pulling and wasn't able to take him to the park. It was getting so bad that my dog was even causing me physical pain and anxiety on daily walks. After working with Tim, I'm now able to take my dog to the park and walk him without issue. It's even fun again. Tim helped to facilitate a stronger relationship between me and my dog. He's very knowledgeable and will recommend appropriate training equipment and provided me with written follow up 'homework' to continue to work on with my dog after our lessons.
