Seriously the best dog trainer! Professional, personable (which is great because let’s be honest it’s more about training the person than the pup), and so knowledgeable. I learned so much about dog behavior and my dynamic with my dog in such a short span of time. And In session and outside of them, there is so much support and encouragement on how to proceed with training. I would recommend Scarlet K9 to anyone with a dog of any age or any “issue”. Also I haven’t been able to get my pup into his crate in over a year and look! He’s chillin with minimal whining within only a few days.

I rescued our Sassie, which was described as Brindle #2 under breed. Come to find out she is 1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Pitt Bull and I was over my head with her energy. Evan helped me learn how to effectively communicate with her through his training program. I loved how he came to the house and I was able to train her in her every day world. Evan is very knowledgeable, helped me tackle issues in between between sessions, and even checked up on us well after our training was over! I learned so much about my dog from him and we are both much happier now!

I would highly recommend Scarlet K9 to get you puppy on the right track. We rescued a large breed puppy who was a playful biter and we have the scars to prove it! Evan worked with us to eliminate the biting and we later sent Dusty for a 2 week board and train. He came back a new puppy, and we have a foundation to work on additional training. Evan even came over after we had Dusty home for a bit to make sure he hadn't gone back to his old ways, which he hasn't.

We recently adopted a 2 year old American Bulldog who had been at rescue for several months. We could tell he had some kind of training in the past, but we really were looking to add some structure and consistency with his behaviors. While he did mostly well in the house, he was a challenge when other distractions were around, specifically other dogs. Evan was highly knowledgeable and helped us provide that structure, and consistency that our dog needed to be content and happy. Thanks so much Evan for everything.
