Sadie's Rules K9 Training

Jess, There are not enough words to describe your training with Chloe and our family. You transformed a strong willed, overwhelming big dog into a wonderful family pet. You have shown us as owners how to give Chloe the support and guidance she needs to be successful. Chloe is now the wonderful, loving, fun and good-mannered dog we dreamed of having. You gave us and continue to give us the tools and support we need as owners. Walking Chloe is a pleasure not a chore anymore. We are not overwhelmed; the household is not stressed with the challenges of a large dog. Today, Chloe went to work with me, a dream I had for her and I. Today was a success!! A co-worker commented on Chloe’s nice manners and listening skills. He also stated, “he never knew a big dog could be so nice”. This is coming from a man that has always been afraid of large dogs. Chloe helped my co-worker overcome the fear of a large dog. Chloe's transformation is amazing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything! Lynn and family

I cannot recommend Jess and Sadie's Rules enough! I brought my 3 year old anxious, leash aggressive, barking, needy Dachshund to Jess for the 5 week board and train program. He has made an amazing transformation and it's really improved our lives so much! People often told us that his behavior was a "Dachshund thing" and we often relied on picking him up, or not taking him places because he was unpredictable. Now that he is calm, follows our lead and respects the rules we can take him places and be a lot less worried on walks. I also appreciated the level of communication, photos and video while he was there and the communication thereafter.

When we brought Toby to Sadies’s Rules, we were in some ways at the end of our rope. He was so reactive on walks that we were afraid to take him on walks, and we could not get him to calm down when he was home. He was always looking out the window and seemingly looking for things to bark at. Jess was very helpful when we first spoke to her. She made us feel as though the problem was able to be solved, and that Toby was not a bad dog. He trained for 3 weeks at Sadie’s, and we could hardly believe the changes we have seen in him. He listens to us now, and is able to be calm and less reactive. He makes better decisions and generally seems happier. Toby is also the same goofy dog we’ve always loved, his personality is still there. Sadie’s just set us all up for success. We are so grateful that we found Sadie’s Rules, and are so thankful to them for loving our Toby and also giving him the tools he needs to thrive in our home.

Bow tie is a two-year old pit bull terrier mix that we adopted in May 2020. Although he is a quick learner, my husband and I quickly realized we needed help. We are both working and getting ready for a baby in a few months. Bow tie spent three weeks with Sadie's Rules K9 Training to become his very best in time for the baby. Jess and her team teach critical commands such as down, place, and heel. She also trains the dogs to ignore distractions and stay focused. Under a watchful eye, the training and boarding dogs walk and socialize together boosting their confidence. Jess provides peace of mind by posting daily videos on Sadie's Rules K9 Training Instagram to see dog training progress. When we saw Bow tie again after three weeks, we had two lessons to apply the commands ourselves with Jess's guidance. She also gave us the tools necessary to reinforce his good behavior at home too. Jess makes herself available to answer our questions and concerns long after training is over. What differentiates Jess is her dedication to dog safety and balance. After the three weeks, we noticed Bow tie still exhibited strong separation anxiety whenever we left the house. Jess graciously continued to work with him by teaching him to self-soothe and settle down in his kennel. We have seen his confidence soar and he's much more relaxed, freeing us up to leave the house. When the time comes, we look forward to boarding Bow tie with Sadie's Rules. Thank you Jess for giving us the best version of Bow tie!

A MUST!! We sent our English Labrador Retriever, Tilly, to Sadie’s Rules when she was 7 months old and it was the best decision! First and foremost, Tilly adores Jess and her family. The training Tilly received was incredible. We don’t even need an electric fence for her bc Tilly comes to us on command and does not chase other dogs or people walking by. Prior to training, Tilly jumped on people and pulled the leash when anyone in our family walked her. Post-training, it is hard to even believe she ever did either of those things!! The ‘place’ command has made life inside our home so much easier- Tilly can be in her ‘place’ while we are eating dinner, watching tv, etc. and she’s with us, but not in a distracting or annoying way. Tilly now waits patiently before passing through a threshold- such a pleasant change from charging through like a crazy dog! While Tilly is now a polite and respectful member of our family, she has not lost her sweet, playful nature that we all have loved about her since day #1. It is apparent upon arrival at Sadie’s Rules that Jess and her family know what they are doing. Jess is obviously passionate about her work with dogs, and their property is a beautiful spot for canines to spend a few weeks. I have already recommended Jess to friends and will continue to do so. It is such a compliment to have people tell us how well behaved Tilly is on a daily basis, I wish this for all dog owne rs!! Sadie’s Rules is top notch ⭐️⭐️🌟🌟⭐️
