Russell's K9 Academy

Albert is by far the best trainer around!! We definitely recommend him for all your dog and dog owner training. Yes I said dog owner training because we learned so much about what we were doing wrong and how to correct it. Queenie spent 8 weeks in rehabilitation boot camp for aggression. She wanted to take his head off when we dropped her off but he gained her trust and respect with a lot of hard work. Now she is much calmer and listens to commands and markers like a champ. Thank you so much Albert for helping us be better dog owners and helping Queenie achieve being a happier healthier confident dog.

We have s very energetic, strong minded Belgium Malinious - Dutch Shepherd mix. Embarrassingly we didn’t know how to control him and he had become destructive and out of control. Russell’s K9 Academy did a great job training Thor and ‘training’ us. He helped us understand how a dog thinks and now we have a strong, active, well behaved companion. We invested in the boot camp. It was worth the money. We visited regularly and our dog was happy and well cared for. We are planning to use Russell’s K9 to board our dog for upcoming trips.

We have ORDER in the house again!! Thank you SO MUCH Mr. Russell! I can now put my 1yo Irishdoodle in a PLACE anytime I need to get things done and release her when I’m ready to give her my attention again! I can do laundry, fold clothes, get meals prepped, open the front door, sit and watch Netflix, do work at my computer, etc... without constantly worrying about where she’s gone off to and what mischief she might have gotten herself into. I can simply put her in a PLACE near where I'm doing my work, do the work, release her, and VOILA! She also no longer jumps on us, unless we invite her (for play). She no longer counter surfs. If she starts nearing her nose to the table to sniff, a simple firm NO does the trick and she backs off (and she's learning to just not even try anymore.) Walks are a whole new ball game! She walks WITH US, DOESN'T RUN AWAY, and is completely OFF-LEASH. What a feeling of FREEDOM and PEACE we now have. Our 2yo Miniature Schnauzer is doing really well too. He no longer bolts out the front door when we open it. We're still working with him at home on being more consistent when responding to commands, but the difference is indescribable! Thank you so much and we look forward to future consultations if any particular issues arise that we can't figure out on our own. FIVE-STARS!!!
