Does R&R do dog grooming?
Hi Linda, we do not offer grooming services. We offer dog boarding and different training programs for all breeds, behavior issues and needs. Thanks for asking!

What time usually in the evenings? Where in carlton county? How do we start.
Lynn, our weekday hours are 7am-7pm. On weekends our hours are 7-10am and 107pm. We have two locations, one in Carlton (1809 Sheils Rd, Carlton MN) and the second one in Sturgeon Lake (86969 Military Rd, Sturgeon Lake). We offer boarding and training in both locations. R and R is the second place we have boarded our Saint Bernard and they were superior in every way from the other place. Pricing, drop off and pickup times, and facility conditions, etc . We highly recommend this business! They have a permanent customer in us for sure.

My three pups completed the 6 week off-leash board and train program at Sturgeon Lake. I have much more confidence in each of my dogs while out on walks (2 weigh more than I do), as well as in myself to handle them. I can now loose leash walk with them and I have better control of my chow chow to "leave" things. We loved their trainer, Stephanie, who picked up on their personalities and worked with each one differently as needed. She tailored the training to meet our needs (having the dogs meet a child, conditioning Harbor to ride in a car, two healing together on a walk with me, conditioning Parker to a soft muzzle for just in case, etc). The kennel staff were very kind and helpful each time I came to visit. The staff gave meds and were very good to communicate overall health and eating habits of the dogs while in their care. The first week is definitely hard to drop them off, but with each visit and training session the pups were more settled each week. All four of us learned a lot and would recommend the training program at RR Professional Dog Training and Boarding.
Daniela and her team were so welcoming and patient with our puppies. They were able to work with us about their needs. And for our timing their hours are also helpful.
We highly recommend this training and boarding program. They are very professional and very helpful. We continue to utilize their boarding services continually.
