Rocky Mountain Dog Training

We had an incredible experience doing group classes with Julie & Valerie. I was initially hesitant and skeptical, only because my dog was so energetic and wild and seemingly untrainable. Julie’s knowledge and understanding of dogs guides her training, and she was able to help us not only train our pup, but understand how his mind works too. Valerie’s positive presence and willingness to help during lessons allowed us to feel like we received individualized attention and guidance. They were always willing to answer and advise us when we approached either of them with our specific questions. The classes were perfectly paced and developed to build skill week after week. We finished our 6 week course with a wealth of skills, a stronger relationship, and a happy pup! If you’re looking for a trainer or course, this is the one no doubt about it!!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! I signed my dog, Ellie, up for the social puppy 2 week program, just to socialize her, but after the first couple days, she was so excited to come to this place, I felt like it should be longer. So I signed her up for the ultimate puppy 4 week program. She'll be here 6 weeks in total. Whatever they're doing here, she loves it. She goes crazy whenever we get close and practically pulls me into the facility. The trainers are great too, they give you a little run down of what they did, and send you pictures and videos. Really high quality place. I'm looking forward to see how her training is after the next couple weeks.

When I first started looking at dog socialization and training here, I was honestly really reluctant to spend this much on a program, but I am SO GLAD I went for it! This was worth every penny. The attention to detail and consideration that the trainers show is second to none. In the month long program, I got daily pictures and videos of my dog learning and playing, she went on four different field trips with the trainers, I received a detailed report card at the end of each week, had two private hour long training sessions, and was given a ton of training material to keep her on track at home. And for my dog, this place must be like Disneyland. She couldn’t wait to get through the doors each morning to play with her friends. The trainer was so considerate, they would take the time to talk with me about what they worked on each day at pickup. They clearly put so much time and attention into their course, now that it’s over I’m surprised they don’t charge more! 10/10!
