The best recommendation a person can give is repeat business. Over the years, Sue has trained three of my dogs, two for my son and one for a co-worker. Sue has the knowledge and experience to train the various breeds and classes of dogs. She has never disappointed me whether in novice classes or advanced classes.. Sue uses both the tried and true techniques and the lastest techniques. Without reservation, I would recommend Sue to any person needing canine obedience training !

I have nothing but great respect for Sue and River City Obedience Training. She has trained two of my dogs in the last 15 years, one a german shepard mix and one a lab mix. She takes great pride in the job that she does with the training. Sue provides detailed handouts of specific techniques needed to properly train the dogs, and takes the time needed to work with both the owner and the dog, so both get a positive reinforcing experience. When it comes to this type of work, I have never met a more sincere and dedicated person. I highly recommend Sue Torpy to train any dog.

I have known Sue for over 20 years and have trained all my dogs with her. She has very good techniques, and is able to adjust her training to fit any situation. Not one method works for every dog. I have also had the pleasure of owning one of her lab puppies. Will always have a lab in my house because of her. I don't know where that other review comes from, but he sure hasn't trained a dog with Sue.
