Amanda is absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand our dog’s personality and needs and gave us practical guidance that we could actually use at home. We’ve already seen such a positive difference, and we feel much more confident as dog owners because of her training and advice. Amanda is great at explaining not just what to do, but why it works, which makes everything so much easier to understand and continue on our own. If you’re looking for a dog trainer who truly cares, knows what she’s doing, and treats your dog like her own, I highly recommend Amanda! We’re so thankful we found her. 🐾❤️

I just have to give a huge shout-out to Cori at Ridgeside K9 ❤️ She worked with Daphne for 3 weeks, and I honestly can’t believe the difference. Before she went, I never thought I’d be able to get Daphne to actually walk beside me without pulling me all over the place! 😂 Cori taught her so much, but more importantly, she taught me how to work with Daphne and understand her better. I feel so much more confident now, and that means a lot to me. Daphne came home happy, confident, and doing amazingly well. I’m so grateful to Cori for all the patience, time, and love she put into my girl. 🐾❤️ I couldn’t be happier!

My dog did the board and train program with Cori for the last three weeks and I’m so happy with the progress he made! She worked with him a lot on building his confidence to help with his reactivity and it really shows, he is much more comfortable seeing people and other dogs on walks now, is listening to commands so well, and seems to be less anxious in general. I really appreciated how available she was and lots of pictures and updates each day! He seemed very loved and taken care of with Cori and clearly had bonded with her! Grateful for their time and exited about the monthly meet ups for him to keep progressing.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Cori. If you have a reactive dog and are nervous about trusting someone with them, she is the person you want. Our golden retriever, Duke, is the sweetest boy with our family and friends, but he has struggled with reactivity and other dogs for years. It had gotten to the point where we would call our vet ahead of time to make sure the lobby was clear before bringing him inside, and we had to schedule his grooming appointments when no other dogs would be there. We had basically accepted that Duke just wasn’t a dog who could safely or comfortably be around other dogs. Then he went to Cori at Ridgeside K9 Summerville for 3 weeks of Board and Train. The progress she has made with him has honestly blown us away. The first time she sent us videos of Duke calmly existing around other dogs, walking appropriately, listening, and handling situations that we never thought he would be able to handle we cried all the happy tears. Seeing our VERY dog-reactive golden retriever calmly walking through places with other dogs around felt almost unreal. What makes Cori even more incredible is how much she genuinely cares. She communicated with us constantly, texted us every day, sent pictures and videos, explained what they were working on, and made us feel completely comfortable having Duke in her care. You can tell this isn’t just a job to her. Cori taught Duke how to manage himself, built his confidence, gave him structure, and gave us the tools to continue helping him succeed. For years we worked our lives around Duke’s reactivity. Cori has given him, and us, a level of freedom we genuinely didn’t think was possible. We are beyond grateful for her and could not recommend her more. If you are considering training, especially if you have a reactive dog, CALL CORI. Watching what she has been able to accomplish with our boy has been absolutely incredible. 🤍
