I have a well behaved dog now and everyone notices! I have a notoriously stubborn Basenji with a short attention span. Training was extremely difficult due to the short time I had to get the new command to stick and her just not wanting to follow commands once she turned 6 months. I enrolled in the 3 week Board and Train | Advanced On/Off-Leash package with Jeff. Not only was he able to help my dog with general obedience but also with her impulse control and leash work. He was able to provide me with the owner training to effectively communicate with my dog that I never received in hundreds of hours of training elsewhere. Run to sign your puppy and adult dogs in his training programs.

Jeff, I could never say thank you enough for the incredible difference you’ve made in Mirin’s and our lives! Mirin is almost 9 years old, but Jeff was certainly able to teach an old (he’s still just a baby though!) dog new tricks during a two week board and train. Due to Jeff’s training, we have seen significant improvements walking on-leash, listening to commands, less reactivity and aggression…as Jeff will tell you, this training truly enables you to be able to just love on and praise your dog for all the good they’ll do. Jeff is incredibly responsive - sending photos, videos, recommendations, advice, etc and absolutely sets you up to be successful following the dog’s return home. It is so evident how much he loves dogs, understands their behaviors and psychology, and is skilled at working with each individual (human and dog) to achieve some amazing results. This was the best investment we have ever made for Mirin and my only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner. Thank you Jeff!

I have waited nearly a month after Cairo returned home to ensure I could make a comprehensive and honest review on our experience with Ridgeside K9 Nashville. Jeff and his work with Cairo has truly transformed my home life. I work from home and the behavior challenges Cairo was experiencing became very stressful and hard to navigate. Being a European Doberman, it was very important to me that he be well trained, especially in public settings that he is often times seen as an imminent threat in. I wanted to help change the narrative around Doberman's and prove they are one of the best breeds and capable of great love and obedience. Cairo is now Cairo 2.0. He still is loving and has this sparkle in his eyes that makes you fall in love BUT he also is much calmer and easy to direct. Gone are the days of him disrupting my work day. He is so independent and chill. He is able to go on walks and stay at my heel, kneel immediately when I stop. No more pulling and tugging. He loves to relax on the couch and have "me" time away from our toy poodle, Bella Chanel. Their relationship has greatly improved. I am so thankful for Jeff's work with Cairo and I will continue to recommend his training to anyone in need. Your dog is teachable and Jeff is the guy for the job!

I called Jeff for some information and help regarding our precious baby Freckles! He was so helpful and full of information! Jeff came out to our house and met Freckles on a day and time that was convenient for us. Jeff made room to board and train Freckles for us when we went on vacation that way we wouldn’t be missing him too much while at home! Jeff sent daily updates and videos of our baby to us everyday so we could see how he was doing and that he was learning everyday. Jeff trained Freckles for two weeks and Freckles came back a new dog who listens better! Freckles is still our sweet baby but listens to us versus before training would run away and act like he is boss! With Jeff’s training with Freckles and our training that he did with us, I feel that we have a good road ahead of us! If you are looking for a dog trainer who knows what he is doing then look no further because Jeff is who you need. Freckles is not only our baby but he is Jeff’s baby as well!
