Revive Canine

I reached out to Tommy when my young GSD started showing some reactive behavior towards other people. He’s a 1 yo shepherd, I’ve had shepherds pretty much all my life but never had behavioral issues like this. Tommy came to our house and met Grim (our gsd) and us. We talked for quite a while and learned so much just from that initial consult. I had never used an e collar with my dogs so we had that discussion and he had one for us to purchase at our first training session. The advice and training he’s given us on the e collar alone has been huge for us already. Grim is also a frequent counter surfer who had gotten numerous dinner items, including a whole steak off the counter. With the e collar and Tommy’s direction on how to correct this, Grim barely attempts to cross the threshold of the kitchen anymore. We just recently picked him up from a board and train with Tommy and the progress he made with Grim in that time is awesome to see and makes me so excited to keep working with him and my dog. For now we are focusing primarily on obedience and control, but have talked about getting into tracking and such in the future for fun. I love spending time with my dogs and Tommy has helped to make that time for me even more enjoyable by relieving some of the stress a reactive dog can bring to our lives. Not only am I SO impressed with the progress in my dogs training, but also the conversations I’ve had with Tommy breaking down my dogs personality and behaviors have been extremely educational for my husband and I! We look forward to continuing to work with Tommy, and thank him and his wife for taking such good care of him throughout his board and train. The videos and updates throughout his time there helped me when I was really missing my boy!! 🙂 Would absolutely recommend Revive Canine to anyone looking for a solid and educated dog trainer.

Tommy has been marvelous with our Puppy. Began private sessions with Tommy in February. Tommy has taken our Samson from having misdirected energy and being a stubborn Bulldog, to an obedient listener and an active learner. From not being able to open our front door without Samson jumping and lunging at our guests, to now being able to sit on his place and leaving things be. Tommy has done wonders and miracles for a dog with lots of potential at being a great companion. We always look forward to every session we have with Tommy and his amazing knowledge and abilities to turn a rambunctious puppy to a calm and approachable dog!
