Revive Canine

I’m not sure who loves Tommy more — the humans in our family or our dog! He literally saved us from giving REME, our highly-sensitive Bernie-doodle, back to the breeder. We were having issues of peeing when we gave him a command, nipping, counter surfacing, leash pulling and not listening in general. Such a sweet pup, but at the age of 6 mos upon adoption, he didn’t know how to interact with people and was extremely confused as to where he was in our family “pack”. Tommy came to us initially and got to know REME (and us) before taking him for 2 weeks. He sent video updates on progress and we could tell REME was happy and being well cared for during his training. Tommy was exactly what we were looking for in a smaller/personal training experience (instead of a bigger volume-based trainer). Tommy and REME bonded quickly and REME still looks forward to training follow ups 3 mos later and his boarding pup “vacations” :) He’s such a good-boy now; coming when we call him, going to his “place” on command, healing on walks and embracing his overall calm demeanor. We get SO MANY compliments on how well behaved he is and all of our friends want to watch him now when we’re out of town. All thanks to Tommy! You don't know how good your dog can be until a good trainer shows you it's possible. We just finished our fourth private session with Tommy and not only is our 8 month, giant puppy a better dog, we are more attentive, knowledgeable owners. Learning what our puppy is thinking, how obedient he can be, and what we should expect from him has been instrumental in a calmer household. The private sessions allowed us to focus on our home's needs and our puppy Murphy's specific behaviors. Welcoming Tommy into the house is welcoming a guest, how does our puppy react to visitors? Going on a walk in our neighborhood is where our puppy will be walking. We have cats in the house, how can we train our puppy to not chase them? Tommy answered these and more with calm patience, stern when needed, upbeat when earned. He is clearly well-tuned to dog behavior and is able to give clear, specific suggestions and teaching.
