RETIRED: PAWSitive Approach L.L.C. Dog Training

I reached out to Kathy for more personalized training for my dog, Luna. One of the main things I wanted to work on was walks and not reacting to other dogs/people. After working with Kathy our walks are so much more enjoyable and I’m amazed by the difference. I love her approach and appreciate the through notes and homework after each lesson. I saw a difference right away and enjoyed the ability to tailor lessons to things I wanted to work on or recommendations from Kathy. Both Luna and I are very happy to have found Kathy and highly recommend her.

We have a 3 year old mini Aussie that has been very challenging since we got her. We decided we needed someone professional and researched trainers in the area. PAWSitive Approach seemed like it would be a good fit as Kathy's approach was calm and based on positive reinforcement. She was very reasonably priced compared to some others we considered and offered evening training sessions. Prior to each lesson we received instructions about how we should prepare for her visit. The instructions were clear and she always arrived right on time. With almost daily practice our dog learned quickly. She is more calm, doesn't overreact instantly, and listens to cues and/or clicks. Kathy has given us the tools necessary to manage our dog in a kind manner. The methods she taught us will help us with our other dog as well. We are so appreciative of Kathy and her expertise.

Kathy was so fun to work with! She made training our two Golden doodle puppies enjoyable for our entire family. Kathy is extremely knowledgeable and has several training tips that work! Her use of positive reinforcement worked so well with our puppies, and they learned quickly what they were being taught. We went from having two wild pups who jumped on people, to two well behaved pups who have learned how to contain themselves when people are around. Kathy’s knowledge, patience and instruction has helped us to train our puppies to be calm, and have good manners. Plus, she comes to your home and works with your dogs in their environment. This was so helpful! We highly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for assistance in training their dogs.

Pawsitive Approach dog training is an amazing approach! Kathy is like a dog whisperer and has such a way with our furry family! Her positive approach is one that really works!
