5 stars! Excellent Dog Trainer! I can’t recommend Misti Funk at Ready Set Sit enough! From the minute my dog (Zoe) and I started working with her, I could tell that she genuinely cares for dogs and their owners. Zoe and I started training with Misti when Zoe was just 11 weeks old. Let me say having own led several dogs in my life this might have been the fast my dog has ever picked up on the fundamentals of early puppy training. At 16 weeks we moved on to adult training. Misti was able to build on the earlier lessons and strengthen those core elements while adding to the over all obedience of my puppy. Not only did Zoe learn, but I came to find out that dog training was just as much a learning experience for the owner. Misti was very patient and informative in guiding me on my part of building a solid foundation with my dog. Misti made herself readily available to me with any questions I might have along the way. In all, every new dog addition we add to our family in the future will be attending some classes at Ready Set Sit.

It is difficult for me to express how much I appreciate the time and effort that Misti spent with me training both me and my dog. I had adopted a two year old lab from a local rescue. She had spent the first two years of her life running the countryside with a group of local farm dogs. She was a wild and I had spent months working with her hoping that she would settle down and become a companion. I had become so frustrated that I was considering returning her to the shelter, but decided to try a trainer. Misty was highly recommended by several people at the shelter and I am very happy that I decided to try training with her. Brooke and I both learned a lot and am on my way to having my dream dog. We both have the skills we need for a great partnership and Misty is always available for a quick refresher or to answer any questions that may come up. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in a better relationship with their dog.

I HIGHLY recommend Ready Set Sit! They are located in Elkville. I learned so much from Misti!! Winston is doing so good with everything that Misti has taught us. She is so patient and kind. She listens to your concerns and walks you through a solution. I had no idea what to expect because I had never taken a dog to training. I would go to Ready Set Sit again in a heartbeat. Thank you Misti, so much, for everything!!!
