Many dogs come to a strange environment and sometimes feel a certain amount of uncertainty and/or nervousness, which is totally understandable. The main thing is that they're able to be taught and learn in their home environment. Dahlia showed that you're definitely putting the time in with her, showing that you're providing the proper leadership she needs. Great job and keep up the great work!

You're too kind, Theresa. I very much appreciate the positive feedback but want you to know that YOU'RE teaching Bear to listen and engage with you through strong and assertive "Leadership!" (I only showed you how.) Keep up the great work and remember to give me a yell if/when you should EVER feel the need.

Thank you for the very generous words Nikki. One of the many things I look for from dog owners is "how is the dog responding to them? How strong is that relationship? Are they showing positive leadership skills?" Both you and Ben showed that every single week. Theo showed a strong response every single time. That proved to me that you really care how Theo learns and will continue to learn, making the bond between you all that much stronger! Keep up the great work. Remember to be patient and work at HIS pace. Dogs have been set up to live in OUR world. Imagine how it would be if the roles were reversed. I KNOW Theo will have a great life. Hey Debbie, such a generous review. Thank you for that, it means a lot. Mischa had a warm place in my heart from the beginning. You see we had a "Goldie" as our second dog to accompany our first, and they had such a wonderful relationship. We were fortunate to have her live to the age of 16! Truly a blessing. Granted, like most Golden Retriever pups she had TONS of energy. We had to learn the meaning of and how to apply Physical Stimulation to her everyday routine. This, along with Mental Stimulation helped make a difference in her Impulse Control (which all dogs need on a daily basis.) Keep working hard. Be patient. Lord knows we need patience with puppies...lol. But also realize that you're both shaping the structure and life of Mischa. She NEEDS your leadership! No doubt that it's work, but we know that when we take on the responsibility of owning and teaching a young puppies. Keep up the good work.
