Raise Your Right Paw Dog Training

My wife and I have had multiple dogs since we started dating 25 years ago. Bobby is the first trainer we both agree on and hope to work with again in the near future. We have 3 rescue dogs now and he helped us get our youngest boy Moe on the right track. He trains with real love and affirmation instead of punishment and correction and it works if you’re willing to put the time in to helping your dogs.

We recently attended one of Bob's classes for the past several weeks. It was a very pleasant experience from day one. He is very informative and patient with all his students (dogs and humans alike) and does a wonderful job of explaining all key elements of training in layman's terms, for all to understand. I enjoyed attending the class' and the opportunity to bond closer with our new puppy. I would highly recommend him.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! There are so many wonderful things that I can say about Bobby. After the initial call with him, I knew he would be the best choice because he trains using positive reinforcement which was very important to me. Plus, he is one of the few that comes to your house to train, which makes it very convenient. He is an excellent trainer who is very personable and knowledgeable. He is very invested in ensuring not only that your dog is trained but that the owner also understands and properly performs all the training techniques. I was worried about how my 2 doxies would react, but he made it a fun environment for them to learn. Bobby would start each session by getting on the floor and playing with them. During each session, he would explain the technique, show it and then have each of us perform it while providing feedback again all by using positive reinforcement. He provides handouts that are very informative and gives additional guidance. If you are looking for a trainer for your pup, I would highly recommend A New Leash on Life Dog Training.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed attending Bobby's six week Basic Obedience Class. We found Bobby to be knowledgeable, personable, patient, and encouraging. He teaches pet owners how to train their dog in a way that the animal will easily understand. Bobby uses positive reinforcement, clear verbal commands, and simple hand motions that helps to maintain consistency in training. We highly recommend Bobby for not only new pet owners, but for anyone who would like to learn how to better understand their dog. My husband and I found this to be a wonderful experience for ourselves and our dog. It's obvious that Bobby loves working with the owners and their dogs.
