We hired Kim to help us with our new 9lb adopted dog Gia, who is handicapped and only uses three legs. Gia seemed to have some prior training, but we needed to work on her social skills. Kim discussed what our goals were for Gia and matched the training to meet those goals. A very unique approach. Our first session was in our home for everyone to meet and get a better understanding of Gia's requirements. Because we wanted to focus on her social skills in public, Kim set up all the training to take place at multiple public sites. This gave us a chance to work with Gia in the real world rather than just in our home. We spent time in stores, like Home Depot which is pet friendly and at parks where Gia would see other people and dogs walking and playing. Kim is amazing at teaching dogs how to act in these public places. We refer to her as the "dog whisperer". Kim also has dog parties where she invites dogs she has or is training to socialize. This allows her to help with any of the dogs who might need some help with additional social skills. Kim has been very responsive both during our train time and after we completed Gia's training when we had a few questions. I highly recommend Kim if you want to train your dog in real world environments with great outcomes. Love this lady!!! Jim and Char Sherwin

I wish our puppy Wally could write this himself! First, everything Kim says is absolutely true. She absolutely knows how their minds work. She immediately gets Wally's respect, love, and becomes Auntie Kim. She is as much training us as Wally. How to correct is an absolute art. The lessons were fun, always had a goal, and gave us something we could build on every day. Field trips were my highlight! Wally has had so much fun with the "off leash" training and has totally been socialized at our golf club. EVERYONE comments on how well behaved he is. No jumping, "sit for people"; they cant get over it. Wally's "place" training is amazing when family and friends come over and he isn't jumping all over them or darting out the door (one of our biggest fears). Training went so well, that the last session Kim was able to just train him on some fun tricks; shake, high five, roll over, and even army crawl!!! We now have the best puppy and friend we could imagine... thanks Kimmy!!! --- Paula and Muntz

Having been told I’ll require surgery within two months, I was in a panic with a 6 month old Aussie. I really needed him to be on his best behavior in a short period of time. Kim has had such a positive affect in my life. In a short 6 weeks, she’s not only helped sculpt my pup into a gentleman, but as also bonded my relationship with him even tighter..as well as given me confidence and security knowing I can recover without the stress of a little tornado in the house. Dogs are a long time commitment, I’m happy knowing that the time I have with mine is going to be a more enjoyable one filled with every adventure I can offer him, especially knowing we’ve built our language together and that he can be on his best behavior especially when necessary! The tools she’s taught me are immeasurably worth the investment. I’m so very grateful and satisfied with Kim and her kindness and knowledge. I’m also happy to know she’ll continue to be a part of our adventure together at the play dates!

I usually don't write reviews but Kim just deserves one! What a cool experience to have her guide the training for our Husky-Lab mix puppy. As others have commented we have received multiple comments about how well behaved she is and people who knew from before were definitely impressed by the changes. Highly highly recommended if you are looking for a trainer, Kim definitely knows what she is doing. As a special treat you get the dog parties for continued socialization program on top.
