This team is the absolute best. I brought my Pomsky Balboa in for training after realizing I was very much in over my head with this little guy and his energy and stubbornness. We did in-person lessons and then ultimately switched to the 4-week Board and Train program and I am so thankful for their efforts with my little guy. After spending time with them, he’s able to sit, go to place, down, heel, and wait. He also doesn’t torture other dogs or my cats when he sees them anymore. Overall, he’s a brand new dog — but he’s still him! I’m so impressed with the teams willingness to work with us, answer my questions, be honest about where I was failing (not the dog), and so much more. We still have some practice to do, but we have the tools and support needed now. Before I felt like I was failing Balboa. Now I feel like we’ve got this. Thank you!

We’ve had nothing but great experiences here! We’ve done both personal training and a board and train. Our relationship with our dogs has never been better, and we learned a lot about long term training. They are extremely responsive, and will work with you on any questions or behaviors that pop up. I have always been very curious about the reasoning behind different methods, and they had a distinct reasoning for each choice in their training or recommendations. It was never just “this is how it works”. They would give specific explanations on how the method was influencing the dog and potential alternatives if other behaviors were also occurring. If you’re at all nervous, I would recommend speaking with someone to get a sense of how they operate. We were debating a few people, and we are extremely happy that we went here. Their philosophy matched our wants exactly. They teach balanced training and ensure that you still have a loving, affectionate relationship with your pup.

I highly recommend working with Zach. He did a great job keeping us on track with the goals we set out to do throughout our 8 weeks of training. He helped my dog build a lot of confidence and identified immediately that my dog was more sensitive, making sure to introduce new training tools slowly. My dog was always excited to go to training with Zach, I encourage anyone to book with him if you’re looking to invest in training your dog!

Zach, Kyana, and Devin are truly a great team. My dog Iyah was rescued about two years ago and although she didn’t have any serious behavioral issues, she did struggle with her confidence and anxiety. I did not want to put her on any medication until I tried training first. After completing our private lessons, and a few messages with Zach in between sessions, Iyah has never been better mentally. Her constant pacing back and forth is non existence and she encounters new objects and environments with her head held high. The Purest Canines team not only gave Iyah the tools she needed to overcome obstacles but also gave me the knowledge and skills to be a much more prepared dog owner. I cannot recommend them enough !!!

Honestly was such a life-changing experience for my anxious dog. Kyana was super willing to meet me where I was comfortable on the balanced training spectrum and was willing to work with the tools I felt comfortable using. It's really done wonders for my little dog's confidence. He has a fear of strangers and has made huge strides in calming down so that I can still enjoy having people over without feeling bad that he gets so scared (and my guests no longer have to listen to him bark nonstop but this ain't about them) They were always available when i had questions and needed to contact them! And super flexible when I needed to reschedule. They also taught me a lot of lessons about reading my dog's body language and advocating for my dog that will follow me for the rest of my life and any dog's to come ❤️ Definitely worth every penny.
