Tootsie is a whole new dog since her 5-week stay with Zach and his team. She is no longer anxious or reactive at home. She is more obedient. She loves her “place” and it’s evident she is an overall happier and calmer dog. It was really special to see her interact with Zach and his wife when they came to the house for the post-training appointment. It was made apparent that they spent a lot of time with Tootsie and created a bond with her that was very sweet to witness. This will help for future boarding services. It’s nice to know our dog was loved and cared for deeply while also being vigilant and successful in her training. When Zach came to our home he was able to coach us on how to continue training with her and it’s been a very successful transition. Zach communicates well, he’s accommodating, he really loves his job and is really great at it. Thank you so much for the experience. We were scared to jump right into such a training process but it was well worth the money and the bit of heartache to miss our girl for those 5 weeks! Time flew by and the weekly updates became a weekly blessing. Tootsie Pop is a huge fan of Purest Canines, as are we!

What was there not to like about Purest Canine? My Boston Terrier came into the program with some behavioral issues. We were worried about him being gone for so long! However, we were calmed quickly by seeing how well Baxter was doing on weekly updates. We could see his confidence increase. In addition we noticed his ability to want to have structure and know what to be able to do in situations that would normally make him anxious. Zach was so good at reading our pup and knowing when he needed direction, motivation, redirection, and when he needed some love and rewards. I loved learning why the tools are used, when to use them, and the psychology behind it all. Zach just seems connected to the animals and does it for the love of them! We see a great difference in Baxter and know exactly how to continue his training- thanks to the lesson at the time of pick-up and the follow- up lesson a couple weeks later. It was a great experience and well worth the time and money!
