FirstBarkSusan helped us turn our shy, scared puppy into a friendly, obedient, and eager to learn little guy. She taught us how to teach him and now we have a confident pup who gets excited to practice his commands! She had a solution for all of our worries and questions, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s professional, patient, knowledgeable, & kind. Would do it all over again with Susan!

WOW!!! I am beyond grateful and also in complete awe of what Susan was able to do with our very high prey drive lab Livy and our new kittens. Happenstance landed us with three kittens and I was so worried we couldn't keep them due to Livy's intense prey drive. Livy is from a breeder who specializes in intensity, speed and drive...she would literally freeze on point and stare at the kittens for hours in their catio. Susan was so calm, and even after the first lesson I started to see how we might possibly get there. After five lessons, over the course of a month, Livy and the kittens (who are constantly zooming around our house now!) all live in peace. I am still processing how amazing this is and how quickly it happened. I also did not spend a lot of time in between the lessons "reinforcing" because we simply do not have time, but the few times I did, I felt confident doing it because Susan showed and taught me how to do it. The only bummer is now that Livy is all trained, I don't get to see Susan anymore, she is also such a lovely person to be around!
We worked with Emilia, who helped us with (much needed) training for our new pup, and we love her! She is patient and very knowledgeable. Her style is confident and laid back, something that worked well with my high-energy pup. I would highly recommend!

The biggest thank you to our trainer Amanda! Our rescue, Birdie, needed help with a few behavioral issues and Amanda gave us the tools and knowledge to solve for them. We were able to do our ‘homework’ between each session and then would learn a new tool to practice. We’re so glad to be able to give Birdie the structure she needs and we couldn’t have done it without Amanda. We’ll use her guidance for years to come! Could not recommend enough to anyone that just isn’t sure exactly how to best help their pup.
We had Amanda for our trainer and she was wonderful! She is personable, knowledgeable, and professional! She did a great job teaching us how to read our puppy’s behaviors to individualize the training process in ways that worked best for him ( and us).
