They took the time to understand my pup’s unique needs and tailored the training to ensure success. The positive reinforcement techniques they use made training enjoyable and effective, and I was amazed at how quickly my dog progressed. At Puppy-Wuppy I’ve received clear, precise instruction at every level, which has provided the clarity I need to communicate effectively with my dog. Every dog is treated as an individual, and their comfort and bandwidth for working an exercise is always the first consideration. I didn’t think I could train more than heal/sit/down/stay but we’ve gone so far beyond that and every session is fun and enlightening.

We did not have a nice experience here between the owner's significantly off-putting and confusing communication with us, the overall rigid and unwelcoming vibe, and a young dog being given a very harsh "correction" in the next room which made him literally SCREAM in pain for around 20 long seconds- which obviously upset the dogs (and people!!) in our class (including our newly turned 6-month-old puppy). The couple of handouts and the end of class certificate are littered with grammatical errors- not a deal breaker but it just adds to the whole unprofessional energy of the place. Some of the email blasts we received were notably berating in tone and content. The classroom floor often had leftover pieces of treats and other items on it which of course young puppies love to focus on. Any excitement we had about attending a puppy training class with our puppy left us pretty quickly after the first couple of classes. Anything we may have gained from the class was just overshadowed by numerous negative experiences. We are relieved that the class is now over and are working with an in-home trainer who is informative, fun, partnering with us, transparent, friendly, and very engaged which allows us to finally enjoy the puppy training experience!
