It was a pleasure to work with Susan and Rob. Originally we weren't to sure of doing the training as I had been extremely successful in training my last sheltie and I had been a Vet Tech. That was over 20 years ago. I found out working with Susan that even though I still had my skillset, there were a lot of new things out there. Her teachings along with my openness and knowledge has made our baby boy an excellent well adjust puppy with no real concerns. One of the biggest things I learned was how important sniffing is for dogs and allowing our dog the time to sniff and not get aggravated by it has been a game changer. We are all a lot happier on walks and they are not long ones but there full of smells. Thank you Susan and Rob for teaching this owner new tips and tricks, Tanner Blu is a rockstar because of it!!

I highly recommend Susan's classes for everyone with a puppy. I've grown up with dogs and have always trained my own, but I wanted to make sure my GSD-mix puppy had extra experiences and training because of his breed. Even knowing a lot about dogs and puppies, I still had moments where I learned something new or it was something I hadn't thought about before. Class includes brain games that get the puppies thinking and moving around, some talking and explanation about behaviours and new tricks, and then some puppy playtime where the dogs are able to run around and play with each other while supervised. Each week there's a new in-class activity that gives the puppies new experiences and then some "homework" activities to do at home. My puppy absolutely loves going to class each week and gets so excited to see Susan and Rob.

I just can not say enough good things about our experience learning at pupDOGS. Susan offers a wealth of information in a supportive and comfortable learning environment while she runs fun and engaging classes that we looked forward to attending each week. She pays attention to the disposition of each dog in class and helps their owners meet them from where they are at. Susan is an educated trainer that follows a fear-free, force free, reward based approach. She is incredibly talented, approachable, and kind and her strategies and lessons work! I highly recommend taking classes at pupDogs.

We love our puppy classes with Susan & Rob! It’s the best night of the week. We’ve learned such valuable information in such a short amount of time and so has our 18 week old puppy! It’s amazing to see the progress each week in our own dog and the other dogs in class. We call it EPFE (early puppy family education) as opposed to ECFE (early childhood family education)! Very excited to graduate to the tweener class with our pup and we will be back for all classes that follow. Thank you!!
