Pup Pup & Away

The experience with Pup Pup and Away has been wonderful!!!! I’m amazed at the progress of our almost 5-month-old mini dachshund and her 1-year-old mini dachshund sibling who recently completed the six-week Power Pup & Canine Sidekick program. The puppy class and preschool programs provided reinforcement training and socialization.Stephanie, along with the other trainers help give you the confidence to train your fur baby. Pup Pup and Away is highly recommended for any new puppy parent – it's an investment that truly pays off!

Pup Pup & Away is a fantastic daycare, boarding and training facility! We took our golden retriever to them since she was a puppy for puppy class, daycare and boarding. PPA became her second home and family in San Antonio! We loved the thoughtful daily report card with lots of pictures, which helped us feel included in her daycare/boarding day. She loved it so much and would come home from daycare thoroughly tired. Sadly, we have moved out of the city, but I would recommend PPA to anyone!

My Havanese pup just spent 9 days here. His background is he was rehomed with us due to behavior issues. I can’t say enough how absolutely positive my pup’s experience was. The kennel techs and trainers really took the extra time to meet his needs. They gave him enrichment activities that challenged him and gave him a chance for lots of praise. I received wonderful daily reports with pictures and narratives from his caretakers. They notified me when there was a health concern, and gave me updates until we knew it was only allergies They 100% followed my instructions for care. Everyone at this kennel is an extremely caring, animal person. It’s been a long search to find the perfect place for my pup. After our experience, I have great confidence my dog is receiving excellent care. Pup, Pup, Away now will be our go to when we need outside care for our boy. Thank you to all employees! You are awesome! 2025. Update. We have been taking Bear to Pup pup away since they were in Bandera. The new facility is awesome! Lots of space for dogs and always spotless clean. I love they teach the dogs positive behaviors promoting a smooth operation with a crowd of dogs. They have helped Bear learn how to play with other dogs which is a big deal for us considering his past isolation. They make him so comfortable his daily pictures show a relaxed guy instead of the anxious one he was when we started kenneling there. Bear is so excited to go there and beyond happy when we pick him up. I also am comforted that when I need to communicate with staff, they promptly are available. This is just an awesome place, well run, and with a loving caring staff. Thanks for making such a positive impact in Bear’s life!

We chose Pup Pup and Away to be our dog’s +1 at our wedding, and I’m so happy we did! Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of our boy! She took time to discuss exactly what we were envisioning for Mozart’s part in our big day and did everything necessary to take care of him and get him down the aisle! We couldn’t have made it happen without her. She even took pictures and sent them to me the next day! Thank you so much!!!
