Jess is the best dog trainer we have ever had. She's patient and results-oriented but leads with love instead of the strong alpha, break a dog down, type of trainer. She also promotes how much we are responsible for training, too. Dogs take the lead from their 'pet parents.' Jess was such a pleasure to work with and we would still be working with her if we hadn't moved out of state. If you're looking for a trainer to help with the below challenges and more, Jess Kane is it! - Stairs: Chloe couldn't go up and down stairs when she was re-homed with us. We didn't know her background and didn't understand why but within 2 visits she was confident to go up a couple and within a month we was going up and down with ease. - Training Activities: Jess gamifies her training which made if fun for us and Chloe! It was easier to remember. If we did forget in between, Jess had a package of trainings and tips. Examples: Recall, Emergency Rescue, Directions, etc.

Jess is great! We had a private training session, as well as joined the group training session with her, and I’m really amazed at the changes I’ve seen in my pup. My pup is reactive on leash, and with Jess’s help I was able to implement techniques that have helped him better control his reactivity. The group basic training was great for learning skills that are really key for having a well behaved dog in your home. He also learned some fun tricks that the kids love to work with him on too! Jessica was an excellent trainer for us across our 7-week training course for our new puppy! She taught us so many techniques for training our high energy puppy to be the best she can be, and we have seen a tremendous amount of improvement. We feel so much more confident in our abilities to carry out further training as well as to train a future puppy! The most important factor, her training methods being focused on positive reinforcement, was crucial for us and she absolutely delivered in that regard. I highly recommend Jessica for puppy training!
