If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.

I recently adopted two dogs, that are one and half years old. I have been working with them both in my home and yard. But I'm finding that they are scared of everything out side of my yard . Do you have any suggestions?

Dogs are like children, if you expect them to continue to do what they learned, you must reinforce it. Positive Pets does training with you to reinforce everything they have taught your dog.

Dogs cant lie...so if you arent doing your homework (consistently reinforcing the training)we will know. We absolutely want you and your pup to succeed, but for that to happen, you must do your part!

She will only forget if you dont practice. If you dont use it, you lose it! The trainers give you all the tools and resources you need to continue practicing too, which I have noticed a lot of other places dont really commit to like Positive Pets does. And think of it this way, 30 minutes of training spread throughout the day only takes about 3% of your entire day. The difference that every day practice will make is phenomenal.

Troy is amazing!! We have a 1 year old chocolate lab and really needed help with training him because he was not listening to us. With positive pets training and our one on one training with Troy, our dog has completely changed! It is a joy to take him on walks and not worry about him pulling us to the ground or constantly tugging. He listens at home to us and our toddlers. This training was worth EVERY PENNY! If you are on the fence about training, I highly recommend Positive pets!

Positive Pets Dog Training is the very best. I have had several dogs and have gone to many trainings. Out of 10 trainings, only 2 rank very high at all. Positive Pets is the Harvard of Dog Training! Such well educated instructors! I appreciated the advice on how a dog "thinks" when you do certain "word or hand signals". The training was excellent. I would highly recommend Positive Pets Dog Training. Our instructor, Donny d'Attilio, was the BEST! His dog was awesome to watch. The tips in training were common sense, but we do not think about it..Now I will!!!!

I can’t say enough about this place! Their training has really helped me with Wesley, my 11 month old Australian Shepherd. He’s like a new pup, and listens so well to the commands they have taught him. They teach you to train your dog in a positive manner to where it’s fun for you and your dog to learn. Wesley loves his classes there 🐾🐾 and he loves his trainers and staff.

My Saint Bernard, Tony, and I have had nothing but an incredible experience with Positive Pets Training! We started with Puppy School, just graduated from the Well-Mannered Dog program, and are excited to begin the Distraction Class next. From the moment you walk in, Nicole and Angie at the front desk make you feel welcome and supported. The group class trainers, especially Riley, are fantastic at keeping the sessions engaging and fun. Justin, our private trainer, has been outstanding—patient, kind, and always encouraging. Even when I needed him to repeat instructions multiple times, he never made me feel stressed or embarrassed. He truly helped us overcome some challenges and gave us the tools to succeed. We also had a class with Taz, who was equally fantastic. Every member of the Positive Pets team goes above and beyond, and it shows in the results. I can’t recommend them enough!
