If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.

Ideal for owners who simply don’t have the time, energy, or patience to lay the foundation their dog themselves. Your dog stays at our Positive Pets Dog Training facility during the day for one day a week for 3-6 weeks depending on how well you want the dog trained before move one to group classes.

Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

I can’t say enough how great Positive Pets is to work with. The dog trainers along with all of the staff are extremely helpful and make sure they can assist you and your pets in whatever way they can. The trainers are knowledgeable and confident in the work they do. Their dog trainer Devin was especially amazing to work with and helped us out when we needed it the most. I would highly recommend Positive Pets and will continue working with them in the future!

We rescued our Boxer in February and he was practically perfect except for some reactivity issues. The first time I walked him he barked and lunged at any and every dog. We live in a dog filled neighborhood. I felt defeated and heartbroken that I couldn't trust him. We started at Positive Pets with a group class and that proved to be too much for our boy. After calling and speaking with Tas, we decided on private all day classes. Again, he did great, but I still couldn't trust him out in public. On our last day of training, Devin came to our house and walked with us around our neighborhood. He gave me the confidence to walk our boy. That was November 1st. Now, we walk every day with no issues! He pays little to no attention to dogs. It took a lot of practice on my part, but I put in the work and now I literally have the perfect dog. Thank you so much to the entire staff at Positive Pets!! You have no idea how much you have changed our lives! I honestly didn't think we would ever get to this level of training, but he is better behaved than I could have ever hoped! Chandler is now the very bestest boy!!

Positive Pets is a great dog training program that trains the owners along with their dogs. They are very effective trainers who I highly recommend. They even did a Christmas party for their furry customers which was really fun.

Positive Pets helped me connect to my powerful breed dog. They helped me understand him and what he needed and how he learned what I needed. We have an amazing bond with our dog and he literally can go anywhere with us. What we learned was life changing! Highly highly recommend!

We just finished the first part of training with Positive Pets Dog Training. We worked with Taz and she was awesome to work with. Everybody I have interacted with there has been friendly and wanting to help. The training is just right for us. I love their philosophy for dog training. The dogs get trained, but in a much more positive way than somewhere I went in Boise years ago. And it is more effective too. They care about the dogs here.
