If you are the hands-on type that wants to be personally involved with training your pooch, our group dog training classes are for you. Group classes not only teach you training methods, but also provide the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners.
Group classes offer the benefit of socializing with other dogs and owners, and working around distractions. The classes are kept small to make sure each dog and their owners are able to get personal attention without getting lost in a large group.

Ideal for owners who simply don’t have the time, energy, or patience to lay the foundation their dog themselves. Your dog stays at our Positive Pets Dog Training facility during the day for one day a week for 3-6 weeks depending on how well you want the dog trained before move one to group classes.

Do you have classes for young puppies?
For dogs who are 5 months or younger, we have our Puppy Pre-School. This will teach you the principles of raising a well-mannered, confident and socially outgoing puppy. If you are interested, give us a call at (208) 888-0708

We did their Puppy school with Tass and it was amazing! It changed the way I approached dog training. I highly recommend it! Normally when I call them I speak with Angie, she is great too! She knows literally everything about Positive Pets!

Positive Pets trainers are the best out there. I have been going to PPDT for over six years and have had three German Shepherds (all rescues) attend Transformation Academy, private lessons and group classes. I have seen incredible changes in each of them throughout our training process. One of my dogs who has since passed away 🌈 had serious human and dog reactivity issues due to prior abuse. PPDT trainers worked with both of us so that I could learn how to better control his reactivity and set him up for success and he could learn to trust me instead of reacting to a situation that made him uncomfortable. He became the most loving and affectionate dog. It wasn’t easy and it took a lot of time and effort, but it was a complete 180° shift. PPDT truly saved him and gave me the tools to help him thrive. My two current dogs still attend classes. They are high energy, high drive and very smart. Without PPDT and their commitment to helping us succeed, I do not think I would be in a position to continue to rescue German Shepherds. I am forever grateful. 💙🧡

Working with Devin was great. He is very knowledgeable and calm. He was able to train both owner and dog and get steady positive progress every week. The facility was clean, neat, and well equipped. We can't thank Devin and everyone else at Positive Pets Dog Training enough.
