Kathy, Sharon, and Jo were a great help in getting my Cookie girl adjusted to a new environment and learn to listen to me in Basic Manners class. The trainers were attentive to my dog’s needs and were able to provide me solutions to work around her anxiety and hesitancy. At the end of the day, the success of the program is dependent on you implementing these rules at home, but Kathy’s expertise allowed me to start the process of training Cookie. Cookie is a 3 year old rescue that I adopted about 8 months ago and I was unsure if she needed this training, but I have no regrets as the class helped both her and myself.

We have worked with Polite Pooches when we got our new puppy in 2023, doing the puppy and basic manners class. He learned so much from these classes, and more importantly, we learned a lot from the classes. While in class, Kathy recognized right away that our puppy had some anxiety issues. She worked with our vet to help us get the right diagnoses and medication. I have since gone back and did a one-on-one refresher. My pup not only recognized the place, but he was also excited be there and to see Kathy! Better than that, he remembered what he had been taught. I would highly recommend Polite Pooches and all the trainers.
As a veterinarian, I know how important training is to have a good pet companion. I wanted the structure of classes, so my puppy and I have done Puppy Right Start, Basic Manners, and Intermediate Manners. Both my pup and I really enjoyed all the classes. Kathy (the owner ) and her staff are all great - super knowledgeable and good with dogs!

If you invest the time at home to work on the techniques the team shares with you and you listen in class you will unlock an amazing relationship with your dog. Kathy has gone above and beyond to help my family with a complicated situation and we cannot thank her enough. She is passionate about her job and it shows. Thank you everyone af Polite Pooches!!!!
