He was very easy-going and relaxed during the whole process no matter how rowdy my dog was, and we saw significant improvement in her behavior almost right away. I put off hiring a trainer for a while because I felt that I'd already done enough research on my own, but having someone work with me in-person ended up being very necessary. It's one thing to watch tutorials or read articles, but having a trained professional physically show you what to do gives you a whole new level of confidence, and takes away all of the guesswork. I went with the 6-session Reactive Dog package, and I felt that it was the right amount for my needs. Price-wise, it felt like a good investment in my relationship with my dog. The peace-of-mind of knowing that I'm leading my dog down the right path is certainly worth it.

Our rescue Archie was reactive on the leash and was not consistent in his recall. In NYC this was extremely dangerous. After completing the reactive dog training we saw our Archie for the first time. The root of his reactivity was in the fact he didn't know where to focus. We continued with training with scent work and agility to provide him with focus and skill. The classes were fun and the group we were in all became friends. It's nice to have a dog community on the UWS. Dr. H brought science based training and vocabulary that is here to stay in our home. A great place for dogs and their people.

Pepe is an awesome trainer. Getting a puppy is always overwhelming but hiring Pepe was the best decision I have made. He thought me how to teach my puppy with positive reinforcement and although training is quite a long process, results are already visible. And most of all I now know how to continue to teach my dog using positive reinforcement.

When I first started out with Pepe's private lessons I wasn't very hopeful as past trainers that I had for my dog Cream didn't help to fix her reactivity with other dogs. However, I was completly wrong. Already, during the consultation, Pepe assessed the problem and knew effective strategies to help with Cream's reactivity. With each lesson I became amazed at how much Cream transformed with these training sessions and already by the 4th training session she was walking next to another dog! Pepe is super kind-hearted and has a really good knowledge on dogs and their behavior. Highly recommend!!
