After adopting a 5 1/2 year old husky from a a family who could no longer care for her we took her in knowing little about how to work with a dog who had little to no training . I came across Perfect Pooches after talking to and researching a lot of other trainers and facilities . Unlike the other facilities Tim was quick to answer my call and give me the low down on every detail there was to know about how his training program worked and everything I needed to know about bringing in a new dog and then some ! He is extremely knowledgeable and real when it comes to working with dogs and tricky behaviors they may have. Tim is there every step of the way to make sure you are getting the most of this training experience and really takes his time to make you feel confident to carry out the structure and habits he has laid out for your dog . Upon arriving he makes sure it’s important your dog feels safe and gives them a chance to sniff him out and get to know him ( which I thought was great). He was nice enough to give us a few tips on how to handle her the first few days we had her since we couldn’t drop her off right away. We were quickly taken back by how quickly he had our dog already learning how to walk nicely on a leash when we left we knew this would be worth every penny . The facility is a clean and cozy environment that feels like home. He has a large well kept and landscaped property which makes as a perfect place to train ! When picking our dog up after her 21 day stay Tim gave us a through demonstration and orientation on how to keep up with the work he had done with her. He worked with us for a few hours to teach us how to handle her on walks and in the crate . It was amazing for us to see how well behaved she was and how much progress they had made . She was walking on the leash and actually walking instead of dragging us around . She went into the crate with little hesitation . She was becoming the perfect companion we had been hoping for ! We are aware that once leaving Tim we would have to work at keeping consistency with the training techniques we learned in order for our dog to get every worth of what she was taught. Luckily because of the lifetime guarantee of training with Tim we are able to set up some private training times if we need help refreshing what we learned or feel the need to build more confidence in how to handle the dog on the leash . The first couple days of her being in the new environment we needed some reassurance and Tim was quick to the rescue making sure we were working with our dog to the best of our abilities. We will deff be back with our dog for boarding and follow up training practices . It’s very hard to trust leaving your pet with someone and I am so happy we found Perfect Pooches .. they are family now !! Thank you Tim !

Perfect Pooches has been an amazing learning experience for both me and my 15 month old Australian Shepard, Rocky! Rocky has been struggling with a lot “bad dog” behaviors over the year I’ve had him...and being at the end of my rope, I found Tim and his training program. I can’t say enough about how helpful his training techniques have been. Rocky just finished his stay with Tim and he’s such a good boy! He learned so much and so did I. Tim is so knowledgeable and great to work with. I can’t thank him enough for all his amazing training!! I highly recommend Perfect Pooches for those of you who need help in training a high energy dog or ones that are just a bit of a jerk at times. Great training!!!

After being told it was a lost cause by serveral other trainers we found perfect pooches, and we are so grateful we did! Friends and family can not believe the change in our 2 dogs. Prior to training our American bulldog/boxer mix could not be taken on walks because of his extreme constant pulling and overly excited (some might say insane, possibly even psychotic, trying to eat the FedEx truck) behavior. He now walks beautifully at our side and knows to sit down when told and will even sit on his own if you stop walking!!! Thank you perfect pooches for giving us our home and sanity back! Highly recommend! Pleasure to work with and results were more than we could have hoped for!
