My husband and I attended 4 training sessions with Deb. Every session, we learned several new methods to work with our dog, Zoe. Zoe was adopted from the BVSPCA nearly a year ago with no exposure to commands and overall training skills. Deb immediately identified Zoe's needs. She was able to accomplish our goals and tailored what we wanted to get out of her sessions. Deb followed up after each session immediately, with handouts, summaries of our sessions, as well as helpful videos. Deb was able to use what is currently happening in our lives (caring for elderly parents) and offering ways for my parents to interact with Zoe. Deb's approach was low-key, informative and realistic. Deb is a wonderfully caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and effective dog trainer. As first time dog owners of an 8-week old cavachon puppy, we knew we needed help to start off our pup's training right. Deb did not disappoint. The training, guidance and tips Deb provided are proving extremely effective, despite COVID and the need to complete our training virtually. Don't let virtual training deter you! She addresses all of your concerns and really gets to know your pet. She demonstrates the training using one of her own dogs and then works with you as you complete the training with your own dog. At the end of our four sessions our puppy can already sit, stay, come, lay down and "leave it." Plus we learned how to properly crate train so that our pup is comfortably sleeping through the night. Since training never ends, I'm sure we'll be back for more in the future. Thanks Deb!!
