We have a golden retriever puppy & started working with Deb when he was around 12 weeks old. We saved our last session until right after he turned 1 year old. It was something Deb suggested & worked amazing for our dog. It helped us lay all the ground work for him as a puppy and then gave us several months to work and be consistent with training. Then, at the end we could talk more about long term goals, what worked, what we can change, etc. Deb didn’t just help us train Jeter, she helped us train the dog that will specifically fit our lifestyle. We are a young couple with an active lifestyle (working, traveling, hiking, etc). She tailored all his training towards those things. We met in public places (beach, boardwalk), with other dogs, and within our home. When things became stagnant, she always had tools to push us/Jeter. We cannot say enough good things! We have such a pleasant teenage dog now and although we still have to remain consistent with training, he is truly a joy in our lives. We get compliments on his behavior often! We can have guests & other dogs over, take walks/hikes, travel with him and more. She helped him become the perfect addition to our lives! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Deb and how she helped us train our lab puppy. She helped us understand our puppy's needs and gave us all kinds of methods to help mold our puppy's behavior to that of an adult dog. I cannot say enough great things about Pepper’s Paws Dog Training and Deb. From the moment she walked into our home, it was clear she truly understands dogs of all ages and personalities. I have a 5-year-old Maltipoo who can be very barky and a high-energy Mini Aussie puppy who loves to jump, and Deb immediately knew exactly how to handle both of them — calmly, confidently, and with so much patience.
