Pawsonal Training

Completing a two-week Board and Train with Shannon was an awesome experience. Our 1.5 year old dog came home just as goofy and sweet as he’s always been- but now he will heel on walks to stay focused instead of lunging at neighborhood cats and will stay in his Place while our kids eat snacks five feet away from him! We absolutely see this training experience as an investment in our family sanity and it’s allowing our dog to have more freedom rather than being crated during meals, while we do the dishes, etc. Shannon happily answered all of my questions in the run up to our scheduled date, offered regular training updates with videos and pictures, and took the time to make sure we had time to practice together at the turnover. I would recommend Pawsonal Training to anyone looking for a foundation of training that a busy family like us struggled to initiate (but we’ve managed to follow through and implement the training!).

Shannon is absolutely wonderful and so knowledgeable! Our dog Otis attended her two week training camp and is a completely different dog. She helped him increase his attention and reduce distractions while also loving on him like he was her own. He mellowed out and she helped us eliminate behaviors that were not acceptable. We decided to do the extra add-on and he participated in barn work and scent work while he was there. He absolutely loved these extras and was able to engage his nose into play! These two weeks were the best investment we could do for our pup! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend pawsonal training to anyone who is looking to obtain better obedience for their dog!

All I can say is Shannon is wonderful!! Took Charlie to her for the first time about 4 yrs ago when he was a bit less than a year old. Husky/Poodle mix, aloof, stubborn, and smart and a bit of a goof ball. I enrolled him in the 2 week board and train. I have never been disappointed. Shannon trained him to be well behaved but also kept his goof ball tempement that I love. Shannon is his second mom. He goes back every year for a refresher week, not so much that he has forgotten, but because I haven't been as consistent. Shannon does a great job communicating and daily updates are great!! Best money ever spent on training a dog. Thank you Shannon for everything

Shannon was such a joy to work with. I felt totally confident in her knowledge of animal training and behaviors. Our dog Ripley was with her for 3 weeks. During that time, Shannon provided us with updates of her progress with texts, videos, and pictures. When we picked up our pooch after the training, Shannon took time to explain the different training techniques to use to get our dog behaving in an acceptable, and polite manner. Thank you Shannon

Shannon is absolutely amazing! From her communication, to her patience, to her personality, and everything in between. I found her through Google and had my significant other reach out regarding questions we had. She was extremely thorough and quick to respond. She provided us with lots of good information and put my mind at ease about leaving my 5-month-old GSP in her care for a week. She provided pictures and updates and showed Ripley's progression throughout the week, which made it easier on me. We could not have asked for a better experience!! Thank you so much for everything 😊
