Pawsome University

Can’t speak highly enough for Pawsome University! Jaime has been incredible throughout our training sessions for my reactive pup. We did a virtual session and she was so knowledgeable and helped my family best navigate a really rough situation. My dog has now attended a number of her group classes from reactivity courses to socialization and we have enjoyed every minute of the controlled and safe environment she hosts. She spends the time helping you understand the reasons behind behavior and is validating every step of the way. I am so proud of not only my dogs progress but also mine as his human. Jamie has been a huge help for me and my puppies. She helped us crate train them, soothe their anxieties, and avoid litter mate syndrome. I’ve been bringing one of my puppies who is very afraid of other dogs, to her puppy socialization class, and he is making progress each time we go. I really appreciate her help and definitely recommend her! Her knowledge about dogs is clear; she has an answer or a suggestion for everything!

Finally found someone who understands and treats each dog differently, taking into consideration past experiences. Been though 4 trainers before we found Jamie. Within 2 visits my terrified, traumatized rescue dog allowed another dog to come near him and he went near another dog. Instead of jumping into the car as he usually did when other dogs were around, I had to pick him up and put him into the car. He wanted to stay!I highly recommend!!

My experience with Pawsome University and Pawsome Walks has been nothing but amazing. I’ve been attending the reactive dog classes and have seen a huge difference in my dogs behavior. My dog was super reactive on walks and would growl/ lunge whenever she saw another dog on a walk. I went through a few different trainers who focused on negative reinforcement and it just wasn’t working. My dog started responding right away to the techniques Jaime taught us & I feel way more hopeful about my dog socializing with other dogs someday. Jaime also helped give me some techniques to help with my dogs anxiety around the house or with guests, which have helped so much that even my friends comment on how much calmer mg dog is. Highly recommend!

I am so happy with the progress my dog has made working with Jaime! I saw a difference after just one virtual session! His anxiety (and mine!) has decreased greatly with all of Jaime’s suggestions. She is patient and knowledgeable and I know we would not be where we are today without her. We are looking forward to joining a class soon! We did not think it was possible to change things at 8 years old, but Jaime showed us that it is! We are beyond grateful!
