Pawsitive Paul's Dog Training

Myself and my Presa Canario, Duke (similar to a Mastiff) met with Paul a little over a month ago. From the start Paul offered excellent advice and had Duke learning new behaviors and skills within minutes. Below is an update I sent to Paul earlier this week: I wanted to update you that Duke has made immense improvements since we last spoke. He can now sit, lay down and stay on command for a prolonged period of time with interruptions/actions of the world going on around him. He has become a lot more calm and comfortable around new people and has also improved greatly on the leash. I want to thank you again for the training and advice you provided us, it is indispensable. As a formal shelter/abused dog, Duke was extremely skittish when it came to new people in the house and even encounters outside on walks. Since our session with Paul, apparent improvements have been made with Dukes behavior. Keep in mind, this was after only one session with Paul. Can't say enough good things!

We brought our 4 month old rescue puppy to the basic obedience group training and had an awesome time. Our puppy has what I call puppy ADD so his focus in class was not always where it needed to be, but with the easy tips during the class and follow up emails post class, our puppy has learned so much. The class size was perfect for our dog to interact and get to learn socialization skills, but not too large in where we felt like just a body in a class. As for first time owners of a puppy, we definitely thought it was not overwhelming learning how to work effectively with our puppy. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs training!

We love Paul. I brought my first rescue dog to one of Paul's obedience classes and was taken by how quickly the dogs trusted him, and how seamlessly he engaged them. I found myself reaching out to Paul as issues arose with my rescue boy even after the class had ended and was always pleased with the results his advice yielded. Fast forward 2 and a half years later and my husband and I have just found ourselves in the midst of a "foster fail" with a young rescue girl who has some attention seeking and fear based behaviors. We booked Paul for a private session and he helped us to get to the root of the behaviors, gave us practical solutions, and even did some obedience training with her. Paul is super knowledgeable and is able to build a great rapport with new dogs. He will design a plan for you and type it up so you can implement everything in your day to day routine. We will continue to use Paul's services for our dogs for years to come.
