The trainers will talk to you like you don't know your ABCs. I took my dog for 1 private lesson to get a trainers opinion on his current training and to try to address some small issues. She immediately had a condescending attitude and then told me to do things I said i had already been doing, and my dog did great when not in new environments. She did not listen to what I had to say, nor did she ask any engaging questions or want to talk about his current training. She said he was smart but did not acknowledge the work that had clearly been put in to get him to where he is now. Because my dog was in a new environment and not acting as behaved as he normally is, she immediately assumed I knew nothing, then proceeded to give beginners responses, acted like our lesson was unimportant.
