Pawsitive Beginnings Dog Training

As a first-time dog owner of a working breed rescue pup, I had felt like I had hit a wall with training on my own after about a year. Lateria was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I made the decision to start training with her. Even from our initial consultation call, I could tell she was really listening and thinking through everything I was telling her about my dog's behaviors, and how we could best work together to address them. In our first in-home training session, Lateria was able to provide some really helpful pointers to correct what I was currently doing to manage my dog, and other commands that I could start working with her on that would help her food aggression and separation anxiety. Lateria has a wonderful training philosophy and is very realistic about training goals, which I also really appreciate. Even after just one in-home training session, I have noticed improvements following her training pointers. Another training service Pawsitive Beginnings provides that drew me to them is their Pupcation service, where Lateria is able to reinforce training and provide your dog a safe and loving place to stay while you are out of town--a service we fully intend on using in the future. From working with her these past couple of months, I know she is someone I can trust with my pup while I am away. I would highly recommend Lateria to anyone who is looking to strengthen their relationship and bond with their dog!

Pawsitive Beginnings is the absolute best - for our family, this has been the perfect solution to our training, doggy day camp and "pupcation" needs - the approach they take, by engaging first with training, involving the 'whole family', and meeting us where we are to work together on training goals is amazing - and then those goals pull through day camp and pupcations. Our Pippi LOVES going there and comes back with better manners, every time. We are definitely thrilled we found PG!
